Terms of Service
Effective date: 16 October 2026. These terms are between you and Code Possum ("we", "us") and govern the Sorrelmark application for the Clover App Market ("the Service").
1. Accepting these terms
By installing or using Sorrelmark you agree to these terms. If you are accepting them for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.
2. Who provides the Service
Sorrelmark is provided by Code Possum. Clover and Fiserv are not the provider of the Service and are not parties to this agreement. Your use of the Clover platform, the Clover device and Clover's own services is governed by your agreements with Clover, not by these terms.
3. What the Service is
Sorrelmark reads the store's own Clover data on a read-only basis and presents an item-level history, stock movements and sales reporting back to that store. It does not modify your Clover data. We may improve, change or withdraw features over time.
4. Your responsibilities
- Only install the Service for a store you are authorised to represent.
- Keep your Clover account credentials secure; the Service relies on Clover's own authorisation.
- Do not misuse the Service, attempt to circumvent its limits, or use it to break any law or any agreement you have with Clover.
- Do not resell or redistribute the Service without our written agreement.
5. Fees
Paid subscriptions are billed by Clover's App Market billing against your Clover account, at the tier and interval you select, and any free trial runs for the period configured on the listing. We do not invoice you separately, and we never collect payment details ourselves. Billing, proration, refunds and price changes for an existing install are handled by Clover under its own terms.
6. Your data
How the Service handles data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Availability
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not responsible for interruptions in the Clover platform or your own network or devices. We may suspend access where needed for maintenance, security, or to prevent misuse.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Sorrelmark is a reporting aid: it presents the records it reads from Clover, and you remain responsible for your own business, tax and accounting decisions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data.
10. Ending this agreement
You may end it at any time by uninstalling Sorrelmark from your Clover dashboard. We may suspend or end your access if these terms are breached, or if we withdraw the Service, in which case we will refund any prepaid fees for the period not served.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change, and continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
